Is It Just Me?¿?¿?¿

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone gets out of your lane to let you pass them! I've noticed this the last couple of days after we've moved. Now I drive on the Parkway so theres more than one lane and everyone gets out of the lane I'm in! lol But I don't care, I like having an open lane for me and my MINI to drive in! Haha

Well anyways I have a question too...
-Who do I need to inform about an address change?
--Thanks

Great that your having a lucky streak, but I think you'll find it's going to end.

Love it while it lasts and hope you have more.

Gosh I need some of whatever you've got!!! I always seem to be stuck behind a left lane lagwagon with an open cell phone channel!

Oh, so you are the one behind me honking???

Seriously though....I change lanes, the lane I'm in will slow to a grinding halt. It is as guaranteed as the sun rising in the east. And it's worse for my hubby, the lanes will slow for him AND he hits EVERY red light in the world. I bet if I installed a traffic light heading upstairs, it will flash red everytime hubby heads upstairs.

Hugs,
PB

I think most of this is the other driver's interest (or not) in MINIs.

In other countries, people stay to the right, and get in the left lane to pass. I try and do this, but invariably come across someone on a cell phone in an SUV who has lined themselves up with the car on the right and won't finish their pass or slow down and move over!

In England, it's illeagal to pass on the left (which would be the right here) very interesting idea.

Good luck!

His second question:

hey guys, don't forget: MNEEME had another question...

I would say definitely get your car(s) registered at the DMV, and if you haven't already, send one of those Post Office mail-forwarding cards to the Post Office where you used to live. That way, you don't miss out on any mail in the transition.

And, of course, don't forget to change your address with everyone you owe money to, unless, of course, you're trying to escape that...

Drive like your in Germany and theyll get outta your way...
From a way back blink your high beems, and they will move...dont ride the highbeams, (thats uncharacteristic of a mini driver), and they should have moved by then without you having to slow down. If they havent, then they are just plain ignorant or an butthole.
(worked for me the few times I was in a hurry)

I mean pulling to the side of the road and stopping and then pulling out after I passed! But I don't mind got to my destination faster! lol

MNEEME,
If you want people to stop getting out of your way then...
Remove that blue flashing light from your roof!

Maybe folks notice that the little dot in the rear view mirror has suddenly become a big MINI closing fast. They move out of the way to avoid being run over.
Of course you wouldn't do that, but they're not so sure.
