At the most recent DCMM board meeting on 01/18/09, we made the following policy changes, in an attempt to "simplify" procedures:
- The concept of "official" vs. "non-official" events has been eliminated. Any event that a group of DCMM club members participate in constitutes a DCMM event, regardless of who planned/organized it, or when. All such events will be placed on the DCMM calendar upon request... but we ask members to please try to coordinate the scheduling with the event coordinator, to reduce event conflicts wherever possible.
- Since a waiver is agreed to upon joining the club, waivers are no longer required for any driving event... for members. Non-members who will be driving with us should still sign a waiver.
- Non-member drivers attending driving events are no longer required to pay a $5 fee. However, those non-members should be there at the invitation of a member.
