I baught tickets for my girlfreind and I for $60 for a raggae concert with the main feature being a sublime tribute band. We got a hotel room for $90 with parking. I took a shower and we walked to the rams head and went to the will call ticket booth, the place seemed kinda slow, i asked the guy "can i pick up my sublime tickets" and the guy said "sublime? that was last night"
so we went back to the hotel and and got the money back but still had to pay for parking and the tickets. so i ended up paying $85 for a shower

oh well, what can you do. thers not always good surf at the beach

Oh no! I have that same kinda luck with Reggae shows...Last time I had bought tickets to the Rams Head to see Stephen and Ziggy Marley. We drive up to Baltimore on a Sunday night, pay to park, get to the door and I had left my wallet at home. No wallet meant no ID, which meant the Rams Head wouldn't give me my tickets. Ughh. Since it was a Sunday, the show started early and was ending early. So by the time we drove all the way back to DC and back to Baltimore it would have been over. I hate when that happens.

 

just saw that Badfish (the sublime cover band) is playing at 930 club Thurs. 1/15 for $17...I think its the same lineup as Rams Head
