I called for an appt to bring mine in for some work, but the earliest they could get me a loaner was oct. 22. Interesting how they just happened to have a loaner sitting there for you Marina.

To be honest I was surprised when I was given a loaner. When I made the original appt. back in Aug (27-28) the SA told me that I had to wait 'til Sept. 30th for a loaner, that's why I scheduled to have the car worked while waiting, I never done it before, but I couldn't wait the end of Sept.

Last week, however, after realizing that they hadn't order all necessary parts to fix the muffler, I was offered a MINI loaner .. I though it was strange, too.

And the drama continues...

Apparently Zane's gone. Too bad, as he seemed like he actually cared about doing a good job.

This might explain why no one called me to reschedule the repair that they messed up the first time.

I heard that BMW of Arlington is getting a Mini franchise soon. I have no idea how reliable this information is (it came by way of my former MA whining about how he's going to lose a lot of DC customers), but if it's true I can't wait.

Oh no. The new owner is worst than TATE. He was at the BMW side (in the MINI side only helping out when needed ) for 5 or 6 yrs.

It's true. I was told about this new MINI dealership last year from a couple of the MINI USA executives .. They are hoping to open by the end of year but it might slide to 2009.

MOA will lose a lot of customers... and MINI USA is closely watching the new owner ...MINI of Arlington (MoA) has the possibility of changing the MINI market in the DC Metro Area, which include MOS. MOT is not even a player in this as it is considered Baltimore, PA area.

Arlington would be nice, but I'd be a lot happier if VOB would get in on the act.

An Arlington based dealership - if good - would certainly save me a ton of gas driving back and forth to Towson.
