I saw Mach V Motorsports (in Sterling, VA) recommended in this forum and decided to give them a try with my old VW cabrio which I am selling to get my 09 MCS

I had been to another mechanic/performance shop before to diagnose a problem with the suspension making noise when turning and they had changed a lot of parts w/o being able to find the problem. I was resigned to not being able to fix the car and having to sell it for less, but this morning I took it to these guys and they FIXED IT! It was just a loose nut and I can't believe the other guys did all they did and never seemed to have looked into this one very simple thing.

Anyway, a great for Mach V. Really nice guys too!

So does Mach V do stuff like oil changes and alignments? The website looks more like performance parts retailer..

I'm still trying to find a good independent mechanic shop in the NoVa area for the occasional work on my MINI and (if they do it) Subaru Forester... closer to Arlington/Alexandria would be nice, but I would drive to Sterling if necessary...
