Then stop for lunch at Almost Heaven Smoked BBQ, Mineral, Va.

And join the Cooper Vineyard's 5th annual MINI-Cooper Rally.

 

I just bought our tickets (although I'm not optimistic Dave will be able to make it).


I bet you can get at least three cases in there. Don't forget about the backseat!

 

I will try and meet up with you all for the drive down there.

I have never done a rally before, it sounds like so much fun!

 

I have contacted them earlier and they said the tasting is included in the ticket fee.

 

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it after all -- have fun folks!

 

Hey there we had a great time today at the DC Metro MINI Bar-B-Q and Cooper Vineyard Rally... I just have a few pics here



of some MINI's we saw down there, I guess I was busy sipping, not guzzling the wines they had available to us....love that Noche Chocolate Sweet wine Yummm
Next year we'll know that it's a full bar-b-q meal at the vineyards too

I spoke to Jackie, one of the owners, and she confirmed that this was by far the largest turnout to date, with well over 200 tickets pre-sold.

 

Had a great time yesterday. Ending up staying all weekend at Lake Anna and finally got to get my jetski out.

I was talking to one of the ladies at the Winery and she said they counted at least 110 Minis. Heck of a good turn out

This was a lot of fun, even if the run there wasn't particularly exciting. I'm glad I could make it.
