Keep 'em coming. I am still looking at ideas.

I am going to look @ pens and such as well.

When I was a soccer referee, the state association would give me bag full of "flipping coins" with the state logo on them. I'd exchange these with other refs when I traveled to out-of-state or international tournaments. I have quite a collection from all over the world now.

Just an idea.

I think that if we are looking for the more ....inexpensive items, but ones that would get used quite a bit, pens are a good idea. There are quite a lot of places that would give a competitive price for a decent looking pen with our logo and perhaps the website on it. And this could be also an item to leave at the dealerships (management permitting). Just a thought...........

I agree, make sure the inexpensive items are actually useful. Bev goes to these conferences all the time and I can't tell you how many water bottles, can holders and even magic 8-***** I have! Totally useless stuff to me.

There's a promotional fulfillment company in DC that I used to do business with, run by an old college classmate. They have an on-line catalog:

http://www.macmannes.com/index.php

Might be worth paging through it to see what we might like.

I think we should do things that ARE actually useful instead of just things that people will collect and never do anything with; even if that means we make logo'd {insert something weird here}

Most definitely. I would love a windbreaker above all else mentioned here. What can I say, it feels good to break wind.

They really do a great job, at least for me. They are a lot like MINIs. They are small and thin but really good at keeping you warm, especially for their size. Very portable. I can't recommend then enough.

I'm all in for that, got to have a cool design though.

well i would assume small logo on left chest and big logo on back, but of course that would be the obvious choice. im sure we could come up with something cooler if we wanted.

Ok! We are hearing great ideas for items, but how about designs? I would love to hear some ideas for designs!!!! We don't always have to have the club logo. Design away!

We will be looking into a lot of different ideas we all have suggested. Please note, though, that it takes TIME to research for the best product/money/ etc.. So be patient!

I like the hoodies and bags idea, I use both regularly!

How about decent ice scrapers? I have one from Trump Casino that I love, it's just a small one that fits in the glovebox that's nice and heavy and great for removing ice.

For the logo on a hoodie, wind-breaker, etc. ... how about a small logo on the front left shoulder .... on the back , how about a large(er) Mini logo with DC Metro Minis witten / printed underneath ?

Hey... it was just an Idea... I remember seeing some blue (T-)shirts that some club members have worn in the past... round logo/club badge on shoulder.

Cheers.

That's a good/simple idea that you really cant go wrong with i think (small on front and bigger on back). Someone here has got to be good with designing/photoshopping stuff - where are you?!?!

The problem with using the MINI logo is that MINI USA is REALLY tight on using their logo on anything.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I am looking into a lot of them.

What MINInurse is talking about is a fresh look while keeping in very DCMM. Here is an example of what COOPERation did for us a while back.
