Wheel installation/alignment in Manassas or Woodbridge?
Wheel installation/alignment in Manassas or Woodbridge?
I have not found a set of aftermarket wheels like I wanted so I am probably going to keep the stockers...but I desperately need an alignment after I get new tires mounted.
Appreciate suggestions

Dave-O,
I had Autotecnica in Manassas install my JCW suspension just a few weeks ago (12/28/2007) - and they did the 4 wheel alignment. @ 70/hr.
Joseph (owns the shop) and his co-worker Martin are really nice people.
Autotecnica is on Piper Lane just near the airport.
Here is their URL: http://www.automotivecoupon.com/ Also - check their website for the Envizio Wheel Wizard, which will allow you to look at the aftermarket wheels in a virtual environment.

Well, I had Autotecnica do it.
He remembered Christina's car, said he liked Minis and had fun driving it once it was set up
He got my tires on Saturday but could not align it because a Ford Excursion was stuck on the rack. Full of apologies for that he did the alignment this morning and took a few bucks off.
Joe is a very nice guy, obviously enthusiastic about his job, and very proud of his shop. I intend on taking my Ford there as well for stuff that is too boring or complex for me to do.
And FWIW, I switched from 205/50/16 Pirelli P Zero Nero to 215/50/15 Kumho Ecsta ASX on my x-lites and the the ride is wonderful. Not so jarring, still tons of meat and grip, and according to my GPS the speedo is now only 1-2 MPH off at subsonic speeds.
Dave
PS thanks again for the recommendation!
