I'm a new DCMM member and I thought I'd give any music fans a heads up on a great event on September 8. The British Invasion Dance Party is a tradition in Hot Springs, VA. It features a band called The English Channel that will transport you back to the late 60’s with music be The Rolling Stones, Cream and The Beatles. Costumes are not required, but they are encouraged. And it's also a fundraiser for the local arts association.

The other bonus for those of you in Metro Washington is that it's a great road trip. It's about 3.5 hours from downtown DC, but your MINI will be very grateful to stretch its legs on our mountain roads. Here's a link for more information: http://www.garthnewel.org/events/103...invasion-party.
