I really like the body colored handles on the PW - looks great.
Here is mine (sorry for the tape, I was detailing when I took the photo).

I'm in to chrome as well so I left the chrome door pull guard on. I think it looks good, not too over-the-top.

Yup - Just get in and start the MINI. Drive to your dealer and drop off said MINI. Pick-up dealer provided loaner and return when install is complete.
How simple is that!

TOO easy... I'll have to check with the local dealership to see which end of the spectrum they fall... $150 to install or $600 to install. Those are the two quotes I recall reading in the various threads on the subject.

Any idea how they got them painted that way? Did they use a chrome set or do they make them available primed and ready to paint?

I heard from a MINI parts reseller/dealer that there should be black ones within a year. I, too, wonder why they haven't figured out that there's a market for color-keyed door handles. The flags are cute, but not what I would want on my car (because I'm going for the black/dark look).

Mine look like this after Lagston vinyl wrapped them. I had to buy a new set to send away, since he's in Colorado and it took a week or so to get them back.

One important tip. Do NOT close the door while the handle is disconnected!

Is the vinyl durable? I'd be worried about it showing wear.
