Oh wow! i didn't expect this. That's awesome! congrats to you guys! another two MINI family. did you guys keep the element? (i hope) good looking MINI.
I saw Soulfire and Cecilia and the little dog and a big lab yesterday! How exciting. I wasn't sure who anybody was though, so I didn't introduce myself. Guess I should go to more events.
Congrats on the purchase! I love the color! Enjoy being topless!
Thanks! I am really diggin it too! Make sure your calendar is open on the weekends, check out our calendar, and come out to some events! We will next be at Marks BBQ.....SO MUCH FUN I CAN'T WAIT!! ( I missed last years because of work ) ALLLLLL are welcome!
MININurse - I'm proud to hear you're donning your first convertiburn! Maybe we should have a "Miss Convertiburn DCMM" pagent! I spent about 6 hours in a strappy top on Saturday driving to VA Beach, so... yeah... I'm looking a little like this guy: Except, of course, for the ever-so-classy, pastey white seatbelt sash!
I hope you enjoy Cecilia as much as I'm enjoying Penny!
Thanks everyone! Cecilia really appreciates the compliments. I am sure you all will be seeing her soon, if you haven't already! She will be at Marks BBQ next...I have to work till then!
I think you should get the pulley and tune from LDG and see what effect that has. John has said that this is the best route, even skipping the intake. Taking a phased approach would also allow you (and us) to see how each individual mod affects the MINI.

Possibably. I am not sure when we will be able to do everything, since I still need to PAY for the car!! But I called LDG and they don't have the special anymore for the pulley nor intake, so it will be a little bit before we get the tune done.
I want to put a pulley in asap though, since I can't stand driving without one. I hate driving in the lower gears without it! It makes that much of a difference to me. And then of course I want the exhaust louder. I think we are going to just mod our stock to a one-ball and keep it at that since there are conflicts with aftermarket exhausts and the USS.
We shall see how long it takes us to get it all done. I am going to be keeping our local shops very busy with installations!
