Club member with a Jet Ski?

This may be a strange request, and it is two parts.

Any club members own a jet ski? Me and the little woman want to rent one for a day so we can go out and enjoy the potomac. Unfortunately they dont rent by the day.... just the hour, and for the cost of renting by the hour we might as well just buy one lol. So anyone have one they are willing to rent out? We basically want to decide if we want to put the money into buying one before we take the dive on one. Weve ridden many time on hourly basis, never a full day.

Part two:

Anyone have an older jet ski they are trying to sell. Must be running, prefer trailer if it comes with one.

Thanks guys, i know thats a weird request, but i know SOMEONE in the club has one!

I may be getting one too, though that wouldn't do you much good since you live so far away (thats a joke, I know I'm the one who moved).

Anyhow, consider this a free thread bump.

Don't have one, have been considering installing torpedo tubes on my next haul out to deal with them though!

If you do get them, please take a boating safety course, do be aware that carving up a series of sharp fun S turns can get you killed when you cut in front of another boat, and be aware no wake zones DO apply to jet skis.

Like most toys, jet skis used with a bit of care can be great safe fun. As used by the majority of users they're just another Darwinian tool in action.

Can you tell we have a lot of problem jet skiers on the Potomac?

Hmm, I have a kayak, would that work?

(And the kayak fits in the MINI, unlike those newfangled jet skis! Bit slower though... )
