Hello - Just wondering what brands/models of GMRS/FRS radios you all use. I'm getting ready to purchase some to bring along for whatever the first event I attend is!

Anyone have any recommendations of certain brands? Please list the model name/number if you know it as well!

 

I like Motorola T6500R. Good size, user freindly, reliable and reasonable prize.

Looks good, price is about in the ballpark of what I am looking to spend as well...

Those look good.

Several features that are nice, are:

1. Rotary volume control, much better control, no annoying beep when adjusting
2. Ability to use AAA batteries if rechargeable is dead.
3. Car charger (lighter) connector (my Motorola model doesn't have this )

 

Any more recommendations? If not, I am going to buy the T6500R radios today!
