Hey all,
I've been having a tough time trying to find a reasonable muffler shop to perform the ubiquitous One Ball Mod for my MINI. Anyone have any experience with some reputable places around here?

 

Have you checked with the garage at the intersection of N Royal St and Bashford Ln? It's a blue building, I forget the name. They used to work on my 1984 BMW 3 series, and when I walked over there recently, they said they can service MINIs now.

I'd drive by and ask.

 

I got the flow installed for my truck at a garage off of ALT RT 1 in Bladensburg called Kellys Peformance and kustom parts or something like that.. KPK.. i think you can 411 the for kelly's mufflers too

450 for parts and install on a dual exhaust.. not bad from what i'm told.. really nice people.. negotiate with them too!

And when you get there, you're gonna feel like you're in the hood.. but it's a fun place and it really should be on TLC like american chopper, but for "kustom-izin" rofl

You can also branch out and take a little motoring journey and check out two of our local MINI shops in the area, WS Motorcars up in Annapolis, and Lucky Dog Garage in Glenwood. Both are in the vendor directory. there is a large population of DCMMers who are patrons of each garage, and both do excellent work. Just a bit of a fun drive away from you
