Might work.

They will be 1" bigger all around, stick inward a little over 0.5" and stick out about an 1.5". You would need to see if you could still turn.

Id pass. Cant see it looking good at all anyway if you have to lift

I'll try to PM you when I get home with the file, but the guys over at M7 provide a list of known fit tire sizes that work with their 2" lift. If you want to look for it yourself, download the install directions for their kit from their website.

Here's the "known" tire and wheel sizes that fit on a lifted Countryman per the M7 guys. I plan on lifting mine and going with larger wheels, but haven't gotten there yet, so I can't vouch for their data.

Wheel & Tire Size Recommendations with M7 Speed 2” [25mm] Lift for 2011-2016 R60 MINI Cooper Countryman & R61 Paceman
No modification to fender or wheel arch trim
• Based on in-house testing and feedback from customers
• Tire MAX diameter = 28.5”
• Known sizes that have worked
o 245/45R19
o 225/65R17
o 235/65R17
o 235/60/17
o 245/60R17
• Standard wheel offset/backspacing
• OPTIONAL: 10mm decrease in backspacing
• OPTIONAL: Add 10mm-15mm wheel spacers (NOTE: requires longer wheel bolts!)
• Wheel width per tire manufacturer recommendations
• Depending on wheel choice and diameter it may be necessary to add 12mm-15mm wheel spaces on the rear to clear 22mm & 25mm rear anti-roll bars. Use only “HUB CENTRIC” wheel spaces.
