TPMS sensor reset timing?

Just had 4 new sottozero tires built up on 4 brand new mini rims. Brand new TPMS sensors installed so I need to do the reset process. Seems to be taking a long time to reset. Is that normal or no? Thank you.

Are they same frequency? Was your system working fine prior to replacing the sensors?

Not sure what frequency. I assumed discount would know and handle that. Yes, car was on stock rims tires before this. Only 6k miles so it's all very new. This was the first tire swap.

Check with shop where you got them from for frequency. In general, they reset pretty quick. I would say one trip at most. Is the pressure set right in the tires?

Thanks guys. Pressure reads green on the TPMS screen. I'm gonna try again tomorrow. How long should it take to reset them?

i run 2 sets of wheels & tires (summer & winter) so i reset 2x a year ... it only takes about 1 city block for thr reset to occur

what i do is start the car, get out on the street at the curb, do the reset via the OBC and immediately drive away
