Cooper Crap lift able to fit 215/70 R17?

I am trading in my FJ Cruise with a four inch loft and 35 inch tires on a Countryman. I live in a very rural area and I use that lift and tires in the winter.

I've decided that the Countryman will match the FJ in all but the very worst weather, but I still want add much ground clearance as possible.

If I lift it with the defacto Cooper Crap lift would I be able to fit the 215/70 R 17s on the factory wheels? According to the Discount Tire calculator, the OD is 28.85.

Thanks
Jared

Thanks, it looks like the difference between the 17s and the 75 series 16s you mentioned is .15 inches so that's close enough for me to try.
28.85 vs. 28.7.

I'm running a 27.6 inch tall tire. According to M7 speed, you can fit up to a 28.4 inch tall tire. If you want to run 215/70/17, it is possible if you get coil overs.
