16"-17" wheels on a JCW

I know there was a thread around some time ago discussing what kind of brakes the JCW Countryman had. Were they Brembos or were they the same as the S brakes just painted red. I'm wondering the same as mine are definitely not Brembos but rather made by a company called TRW. I'm wondering if these brakes will allow for a 16"-17" wheel for winter tires.

the jcw front caliper is the same size as the non-jcw ... you can use 16 or 17 inch wheels

NOT all 16" BMW wheels will fit 2013 CMS All4 JCW

Discovered this today while on my search for winter tire setup...this specific 16' BMW wheel DOES NOT properly fit at all with my 2013 CMS All4 JCW...the offset of this wheel will scrape your JCW calipers...see picture below

next fitting will be with these batch of 17" wheels tomorrow...hope the offset clears the JCW caliper...

Too many wheels, so little time...

As promised we test fitted all of these wheels and unfortunately these gently used 17" BMW wheels below were NOT a proper fit for my 2013 CMS ALL4 JCW...either too wide, mismatched offset for mini, staggered front/rear, etc....only upside was that my car lift and I had some awesome work out burning calories with the test fitting...
