Hey gang! Well our fearless trip planner has come up with another great drive for us.
Save the date: August 17th. This is a Saturday and most likely a good long drive.

While John has the details, our drive will take us toward Parkersburg where we drive our Minis onto a ferry and cross over into Ohio I believe. From there we will just hit some cool places, stop and have a nice lunch and drive the twisties back home.

July is fast approaching August already, so please join us for some good fun and good friends.

Looking ahead, John mentioned the Hampton Roads Fall Drive might be cool to do. For sure we will be planning a nice fall drive to Canaan to take in the fall colors, the neat towns of Davis and Thomas WV, hopefully a concert at the Purple Fiddle and just maybe an overnight stay on a Friday night.

Being a Facebook novice, can anyone who "likes" Country Roads MINI's add this date to the events calendar or what?

 

HRCM's FALL COLORS RUN is in Waynesboro, VA, this year, Oct. 11-13. There's supposed to be a couple runs on Friday evening, then 3 choices on Saturday and a couple choices to get folks aimed in the right direction to get home on Sunday.

Part of the BR Parkway will be involved, as well as The Skyline Drive. I'm sure it will be a blast. Dale always does a great job.

I thought the rooms were a bit pricey, but there are 2 festivals in Waynesboro that weekend, so maybe the prices aren't that bad.
