Ho Chunk Loess Motoring Tour

Having a lobster show up on your feet unexpectedly would make for some interesting driving, especially if you were wearing sandals!

My MINI is nothing special, and I'm a pretty private person, but I anticipate a fun drive.
Artwork... Well, I guess you can see my wristwatch in person, if you want.
All my art is on my computer and I still tend to fail at pencil work. I need the computer to easily erase and redo lines.
I hope some of my posts were useful to you.
I've lived in Lincoln for about 20 years now.
But by summer I'll be moving overseas.
...and maybe you can show us some of your famous artwork!

Well, time draws near as I write this. We've put together a list of names of those planning to attend so we could get a head count for our dinner reservations.
This is the list as it stands now:
Moltenhalo 2
Wildthang 2
Jmike 1
Zyamfier 1
Rainman 2
Minipaige 2
Nabeshin 1
Fishbone 2
Tancred 1
So today we'll call for reservations for 14 for dinner. Oh...this restaurant is probably just below prices at Upstream, so plan accordingly and don't forget some money for your dinner.
We'll make reservations for 18, so we have some extra room in case we get more people as time draws near.
At this time of year, the Loess Hills National Forest Office in Pisgah is closed on saturdays. So we won't be stopping there, but it's great scenery and roads in that area. We'll figure out another place to stop in Iowa for a break maybe...
We have 8-9 cars so far, and 14 people for the motoring so far! Unless I missed someone. (if I did, let us know, and we'll amend this).
Well, it's nice to see the sun here this week, we think Spring draws near and we're lookin foward to some Mini Motoring!

There is a nearby option of a really nice 50' observation tower at the Hitchcock Nature Center, just 9 miles off our route as we drive south on I-29. We would take the Rosewood exit 4 1/2 miles north of where we leave I-29 to take 680 to return to Omaha. So, if we have the time and the inclination, it's a great view of the loess hills from a nice tower built on top of the ridge, with a nature center at the base, and it's just barely off our path. It costs $2 per car to enter the park.

We're set for Tussey's, reservations with a little extra room for more to join. We will have their party room for the evening, so it'll just be us, and the owners wife will be selecting three to four dinner choices for us to choose from since we will be such a large group.
She seemed very excited to have us!

Also, I should probably point out for those that do not know... my long series of sig pictures weren't/aren't/isn't of me. I get on average one pm a week about it, usually from newer members. I keep my sig and rotate the picture because I have a weakness for cute girls, and the changing of my sig is a kind of anticipated and looked forward to event on here.
