It looks like the Des Moines MINIs are going to meet for lunch at noon and be in Iowa City by 2:00. I hope that works for Mike and any others.

That sounds good. See if you can get me information on where I can meet them for lunch. Noon would be a good time to shoot for to get to Des Moines, so I don't have to leave that early. Final Notice:

We are leaving for MTTS in Chicago on Friday the 25th. We are meeting up at the McDonalds on 13th Street just north of I-80 at 7:30AM and plan on leaving shortly afterwards as soon as we know everyone that is going is there.

So if you are going and want to ride with us, meet us there. We are picking up a couple in Des Moines and then the last meet up is in Iowa City having lunch there.

I'll be coming too but just a little late....I might try to catch up with ya'll in Iowa City around 2:00 but I dunno....I know I'll see you there in Chicago at the University....I'll have my walkie talkie channel 7 sub 21. I believe that is the MINI channel. Anyways I'll see you there.

Thanks Dean for posting all your MTTS photos....a MINI is on my short list to replace my '99 Miata some day...and these types of events are exactly the experiences I want to have with my Miata replacement. I've enjoyed many Miata outings in Iowa, Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin and soon..Michigan.

People and events sharing simiilar vehicles..what could be better....

Gary has the Pepper white mini with checkers

Dont know of a Blue like that from Iowa but I could be mistaken
