Replace OEM exhaust manifold w/ header??

I have an '11 convertible that needs all new exhaust system, car is from Mass. I am looking at replacing the oem exhaust with either a Walker performance manifold w/ cat ($400) or go with a performance header w/ cat delete($200). I plan on getting new oem O2 vano sensors, will they still "throw" a code without the cat? The rest of exhaust will be replaced also....straight 2" pipe to performance turbo muffler. Advice???

Any vehicle is going to throw a light if the primary cat is missing. If you don't want to deal with the CEL, get the header with the cat, and redo the rest of the exhaust.
