So I ordered a 2004 R50 Sound kit for my 2003 R50 (Pretty good price) and I got a hold of the intake diagrams on real OEM.com. The problem I'm going to run into is the filter and filter cover fitment being the the 04 filter was triangular and the 03 filter is more rectangular. After looking at the diagrams it appear that just the filter, filter cover and the bottom have of the filter housing are what differentiates the two. Far fetched question but I'm wondering if any of you have swapped filter housings between the triangular (updated one it appears) and the rectangular filter housing? I'm thinking I could just hit up a junk yard in to pick up the filter housing from a totaled mini since 98% of the parts are identical (to my knowledge there).
