What exactly does this delete look like? Is it bolt in or weld in? and could you possibly post a pic of it.

I have a Clubman and want to know if i could pop it in place of my muffler. Yeah I know my car is longer but most of the parts are the same just the pipes longer to connect the exhaust components.

Thanks

Hey Clubby,
I just purchased a new mangnaflow SS dual tip and took it to a local muffler shop to be welded up on my 2008 MCS. It was the cheapest route I could find and still have a quality look.

The entire cost was around $180. $76 for the tip and $100 for the muffler shop.

That sounds pretty reasonable. I'm a fan of the chrome tip that was an option when ordering the car and I'm sure they could make that one work and save me the money there.

What kind of pipe did they use? Mild steel or stainless?

Hey Clubby, I posted picks on another thread on 7-22 under General Mini > What did you do to your mini today. For whatever reason, I can't post them again since they are on another thread. Was not sure how to forward the link to you through my ipad. The tip is stainless steel, very good quality. You have plenty of options to choose from where this is concerned. It took me about a week to make up my mind what I really wanted. The muffler shop cut off the factory muffler (gave it back to me for a rainy day), and then welded everything up about 2 1/2 feet back using standard exhaust mild steel pipe. I told them how far I wanted the tip to stick out the back and they did a very nice job. I was hoping to have flanges welded up on the new set up and the old one so I could switch them out when I wanted but it was not cost effective and they were not prepared to do that foe me. I'm glad I did not hold out, as this sounds really good. BTW- I also have the pics in my profile if you want to see them there. Ordered the tip through Amazon an had it in 3 days. Good luck ....
