...So a K&N Filter is between $30 and $40. I can deal with that, but... Why should I pay the extra $140± for a piece of tube when a MC R50 only needs about 6" of that tube? And after that getting just 4.something hp...
Most of it is in the filter. So whatever a good filter manufacturer (K&N, Gren, Injen, etc...) ask is OK. A tube is a tube, unless we're talking CF. That's why it is ridiculous to pay $100+ for piece of pipe of about 6± inches with a 45 to 90 degrees (depend on you liking) bent!
