I CAN get it running.... But I have worked almost 4 months straight so I kinda just like to walk into the garage and see it sitting there.... A buddy and I will finish it tomorrow so I will give you an update. And yes they did..

mine is working well and Im getting used to the new gearbox.
[2006 getrag 6 speed w/quaife lsd, act flywheel and spec stage 3 clutch in 2003 cooper]
I hardly ever put it into reverse anymore when I mean to go forward
I know alot of people are interested in this subject and enjoy hearing about your plight

 

Yea its done. What a PITA if you dont have the right tools (or time).... I keep throwing the car into 1st instead of reverse. Plus, Im tacking out in 5th cause I forget I have a 6th gear..... The car is slow right now but thats because I am not running my exhaust again and theres no back pressure. But, its funny because with all my mods and the loud exhaust (burbbles and pops)....no one wants to mess with me.... Maybe the cage and CF is intimidating...

 

at first I was throwing mine into 6th instead of reverse and then sometimes when I go for first I grab reverse
Im liking the new gear ratios
I recorded my speed/gear/rpm before and after the swap
I would share them with you but the guy who stole my iPhone last weekend now owns all that data

 

LOL...that sux. Its all good tho. It was deffo worth the hassle...
