Ride Quality: 17" vs 18"

My Mellow Yellow Clubman is on order and I want to upgrade the wheels/tires when it arrives. Since they will NOT be runflats, I thought I'd post here.

Will the 18"s ride significantly harsher than the 17"s? If it is going to be uncomfortable than I will go with 17"s. I just don't want to have buyer's remorse once I install them.

I upgraded to non Runflat 17's on my Clubman and am very happy. Ride is actually a little better with some Yokahama S Drives as compared to the stock 15's with conti pro's. Didn't expect it but it is what it is.
