I compete in autox in the STS class. So I was considering running some custom tubing from the throtle body to a custom cold box to house the CDA filter and shield it from heat. This cold box would be where the battery box used to be (why not reuse the battery box...STS rules does not allow modifications to OEM parts or body panels) I can then draw in cold air from the other side of the cowl. I can install an intake system of any design (except forced induction) as long as I don't modify the engine bay doing it (drilling and tapping small holes for mounting of system is permitted) no other modifications allowed.
