It really sounds like you have pen-S envy............ so why didn't you just go out and buy an S? You've got the hood, but nuthin under it. There is a guy who posts under the screen name snid who has a 2002 cooper who is the fastest guy on the planet because he knows how to drive. Maybe you should spend some of your money on driving school so you can learn what your car can really do?Just a thought.

gahhhhh

Should I? Or is there another cheap part that makes a huge difference that i can buy? haha

Check out this bushing package from Outmotoring.com. Better than just a damper and cheaper.

"supercharger idiot" ? who's bashing who dude? I just got through telling you about a guy in a cooper who regularly smokes people in S's, take a chill pill. By the way, I don't own a supercharged car.

no problem, sorry if I came across as other than helpful. I happen to think that the line of the hood on Coopers is way better that the scoop on the S, I just can't see why you bothered to swap it out. That's just my opinion.......no more or less.Carry on with your modding, that's what these cars are all about anyway.

Yeah um....I hit a deer, so insurance! I thought the extra room would help with my dreams of turboing.

I know, alot of money and work and I know an S would be cheaper and easier.

Oh well, its just Non-S love.

Does the damper really make that much difference?

I have heard only but good stuff about it, esp the V2. I have heard some cases of noise and vibrations being kinda bad but other than that...

Idk It sounds like I need it, esp you know if you ever need those quick start offs from a roll on the highway...

i mean...umm...

Oh, I might get PU bushings and my head port and polished. Then maybe a TSW damper.

Should I? I think so, haha.

No need to get both a damper and new bushings. Both do basically the same thing and the new bushings don't really add and NVH. And it is one less thing to go bad.......
