It makes it a bit quieter and reduces, in the case of the MyMini touring exhaust, eliminates, the annoying droning you can get at certain speeds.

Cons? I guess if you want loud it could make your system a bit too quiet?

Doea anyone happen to have a soundclip of the Borla on an R50? Perferably, both at idle/stopped and under acceleration.

Sounds awesome. But, I'm torn between modding my '50 and saving my cash for the "S" for sale down the road.

well, with the R50... the power it was born with is about what your going to get out of it unless you spend a fortune. but we all know that by now. so if suspension and handleing is all your after, why even upgrade to an S?

one day, when the R50 is payed for in full and the wheels are ready to fall off, i may spring for an S. but im enjoying my class in STS and great gas mileage.

Not good for someone like me who drives nearly 80% of the time on the highway :(
I love my Megan exhaust, but I took mine off and put the stock back on for that reason, the highway droning got on my nerves after 4 months, now it sits in the rafters of my garage,I do have it forsale if anyone is interested in it I'm asking $200 for it

I'd go for the S. Be aware though that you'll be wanting to mod that as well once you got it. It's never stopping, this modding thing
