Pasta Pirate is a GREAT place, but kinda small. It's only open about 5 hours a day and often has LOOOOONG waits if you don't have a reservation. I don't think they do low carb. In fact, I don't think they are aware of the concept. If you go there, make sure to get the garlic butter for the bread.

Just wondering if anyone was going to leave early thusday evening or friday morning?

 

Hoover Dam Run starts Friday, March 4 – depart Palace Station at 9 AM
and Mount Charleston Run is scheduled at 1:30 PM.
So if you plan to leave late Thursday or early Friday, check event schedule.

You don't want to miss AMVIV Kick Off Dinner at 7 PM though

 

OK guys, I'm finally in!
It was a rough start planning to go, but i just don't think this event can be missed ;-)

I'm game to leave whenever there is the least amount of traffic....
Just came back from Vegas last weekend, and the rain & puddles were quite intense. Though the forecast looks to be good, we should alot for extra time for obsticles, fatigued drivers, & less we not forget those that have to spend extra time setting things up for Fri.
Best to tavel in the day in any case.

Arrive Temecula (58 miles) 7:00 a.m.

Eat Breakfast at 5 and Diner (15 to Winchester, east to Ynez (first light) right to first driveway on left back around to 5 & diner (you’ll be able to see if from Ynez)

Leave Temecula 8:00 a.m.

Arrive Ontario (52 miles) 9:00 a.m. you are on 15 exit 4th st. go east 1/3 mile to Gurnee turn left into mall and meet at Krispy Kreme Donuts.

Leave Ontario 9:30 a.m.

Arrive Barstow (74 miles) 10:45 a.m.

Leave Barstow 11:00 a.m.

Arrive Baker (65 miles) 12:00 noon

Eat Lunch/Snack

Leave Baker 1:00 p.m.

ARRIVE VEGAS (93 miles) 2:30 p.m.

That's what I plan on doing as well. Early enough to avoid the traffic, but late enough to be able to check in to the hotel!

So go ahead and sleep in a few hours c3ers!! Meet up at Ontario at 11AM!!

Oh ok. 12 noon is ok by me as well. I just hope there aren't any accidents like last year. LOL. The wife and I stopped at Monterey Park for lunch. If we hadn't stopped there, we would have missed the accident entirely--that set us back 4 hours.

 

Ontario Mills to Vegas would be 230 miles motoring.
230 miles / 75 mph = 3 hours

 

I cannot leave for Vegas on Wednesday (March 3rd), but do wish to go on Saturday (March 5th) and come back on Sunday


If any MiNier out there who are interested to motoring on Sat. Please...Please...Please say “Aye”.

Who is leaving Wed??? March 3rd is Thursday! If you leave on Saturday you'll be be missing more than 80% of the activities. Check out the schedule. Make sure to arrive by 11AM to still have some thing to participate in.
