Shawn, if you are in Ventura County, and I don't know where, exactly, would it make more sense for you to meet us in Santa Paula at the museum? You are welcome to come to the meeting point in Malibu (the corner of Topanga Cyn. Bl. and PCH at 10:00) and we'll figure out a ride for you, or you may join us in whichever car you'll be in. Hope to see you tomorrow! PM either OctaneGuy or myself with your cell number so we can connect in the morning.

Thanks for the invite Clover! However I will be watching the USC Vs. Cal game and BBQ-ing with some friends from out of town. I do hope I can meet up with you and the rest of the gang sometime soon. Espically when my little boy grows out of the rear facing infant car seat that does not quite fit in the back seat. I can't wait to take him on some motoring adventures!

Wow, what a fantastic day!!! Today we had twice as many people than originally expected and it was really a fantastic group. Just the nicest and most knowledgeable people around! Thanks for the company, and the great time everyone! I'm sad that because of a technical issue--uhm where did I leave that darn cable?--I wasn't able to shoot any video of the event. But I'll be sure to get it right on the next one!

So just a quick thank you to everyone who participated, and especially to Toshi and Kuniko for providing the fabulous cake and cookies for celebrating everyones September/October birthday!!!

Seemed like about 80% of the group just had a birthday! Must be why we all got along so well.

Richard

It was fun to lead the crew up the Pacific Coast Highway, watching the cool little line of MINIs in my rearview and sideview mirrors! The California Oil Museum is a neat little vintage place. And the Cooper racecars were so awesome....hope some of us post our pix to share with our MINI brethren and MINI sistren...LMAO! Lunch was fun at the Diaz Family Restaurant...great service! And it was fun to hand Wanda's keys over to CynMINI for an extended test-drive back down to Topanga Beach! His MINI arrives first week in November!

Next time, let's continue on to Ojai! Some fun twisties back in there!

It was nice to see you all C3ers, and new and future MINI owners.
Pacific Coast was beautiful, especially sun came out.
Museum is nice little place with old fashion building, and yeah Cooper display was very COOL.
We had great fun, and next time keep Linda in the middle

I posted some pix in the c3 News page about our event. You can see it here:
http://www.c3club.org/2/details.asp?newsID=30

I also fixed a couple little bugs in the way things are displayed. You can now click on the large picture to return to the gallery index, instead of clicking BACK. Also there was a bug in the way the gallery titles were displaying and that's been fixed also.
