Do you like Art??? I do!!! And if it's MINI art, all the better! If you're available on Thursday, Aug. 19, lets go check out some art in force!! Depending on where everyone is coming from, we can set up a meeting place, and drive as a group to the location.

WEBSITE LAUNCH PARTY - MAXYART.COM and Art Opening featuring paintings of the fabulous and iconic MINI COOPER & MINI COOPER S (classic and new).

Beverly Hills, California August 19, 2004 -- Los Angeles artist Young Lee will launch MAXYART.COM which showcases his paintings of the wonderful MINI (classic and new). A limited number of paintings will be on display.

MAXYART.COM is where collectors of art and fans of the MINI from all over the world can view and order artwork as well as get information on various openings and events, new series and editions, and other cool MINI things. Besides the main portraits and profiles paintings offered on the website, collectors can also commission Mr. Lee for custom works.

Already known for his obsession for the MINI, Mr. Lee is earning the reputation as The MINI Artist. "I'd like my work to be associated with a lot of what the MINI is: good design,uniqueness and making people smile and feel (and look) good." With formal training in the arts and a love for cars and motor sports, Mr. Lee's focus is this evolving body of work, which pays tribute to the wondrous car. Mr. Lee makes his debut in Los Angeles with this first series of MINI paintings.

Come for an evening of colorful art, people, drinks and a good time.

Due to lack of interest, and seemingly even lack of interest from the artist, I'm cancelling this get together.

Aw, too bad, Richard! If I weren't in San Diego, chihuahua-sitting , I'd really enjoy going to this event. Are you going to go, anyway? Or just see the art while it's on exhibit?

Heh heh, I know that Clover. Thanks for your "moral" support!

I may stop by, not sure! I usually go to my inlaws for dinner so they can see our baby, so probably not, unless I mysteriously get some interest today from atleast one other person, I doubt it.
