Do you remember when Ford tried to market the Granada as "looks just like a Mercedes for many thousands less"?
In any case, I think it's a good development. Competition should force Mini to keep their eyes on product quality etc.
The picture isn't very good, but just from the tail-lights you can tell it retains a certain amount of rice-burner design to it.

This is counterfeit MINI~ LOL~ Last time I went to Hong Kong (2006 summer), there were tonssssssssssssssss of these in Hong Kong. Very affordable and quite stylish, not to mention there are lots of aftermarket turbo kits for this "MINI"~ haha~

Not as good looking as the MINI, but it was a nice try. The car itself is pretty small, so it's pretty good in small countries like Hong Kong. They also have tons of mods for it apparently, I have seen checkered roof, bonnet stripes, mirror caps, etc. So if you can't afford a cooper in Hong Kong, which is like... 40k USD for the cooper S (forgot the price for a cooper)... This guy is the way to go~ LOL

Saw a Suzuki Swift with Mini-matching bonnet stripes who went to the extreme. Owner placed an "MCS" emblem in his car, exectly where the "MCS" emblem is located in an MCS. In effect, its a Suzuki Swift MCS.
I wonder how a "Swift" emblem would look in my MCSa? Would i be called a "Counterfeit Swift"?
