MAN the fire is bigger! my fuel pump is at 40% power so that has to go!!! Just like Lionel (tsikot) Lee's MCS, the pumps going to be replaced, injectors clean, line clean, tank clean!!!!

And Bonus, I'm remapping the settings to already include all modifications, which was NOT done yet from day1. So this will need a run to test the power in the car!!!!!

And according to Naji, with all the cleaning......one will not recognize the old MCS power!!! wicked!

I now remember experiencing the same symptoms on the 5er.
We replaced the fuel filter, 2 fuel pumps, and recalibrated the gauges.

We use Shell Velocity or Unleaded, sometime Petron Blaze when given free.

There are 15 active in the Club and many more running around outside of the Club. There are a lot more of the Classic Minis probably hundreds.

Shipping over a car may be difficult, better to just source locally. They are all imports anyway, as BMW does not offer it here officially.

Ed, you may even bring your dad to the Citibank breakfast offer, or spouses for the rest of the group. They hope we can get some 20 people, including spouses/partners/parents. They plan to host us at either Citibank Eastwood or Makati and reserve parking exclusive to us.

 

Where do you guys buy your parts both oem and aftermarket? Is there a local aftermarket store that carries MINI parts?

 

depends on what you're looking for. Regular replacements parts for tune up and 1st level maintenance are pretty much available from Autosport, or ERL, or this shop in C5 near Eastwood (Euro...something).

Performance parts, accessories, are purchased abroad when we travel, US, Singapore, HK, Malaysia.........So if its not too much of a hassle, we ask favors from our club members to pick up parts.:impatient :impatient
