Need some help with wheels

Hi guys,

I am buildig a MKII with a Honda engine. My question is this: I realize I need the 13 inch wheels so the gear ratios work out and so forth. However, do I need to run the 7" or will the 6" wheels do fine?

The reason I am asking is because of the fender arches. Do the fenders need cutting? Or, does the tire fit in place without having to cut?

I really would rather not run fender arches. Any suggestions?

thanks,
joe

13" wheels require the front edge of the wheel opening to be trimmed as when you are turning the width of the tire track rubs. If your car is lowered, then further trimming may be necessary. The tread will stick out and should be covered by an arch. Whether you do or not is up to you and state laws...

you might even need to cut with 12 inch wheel too, depending on the width and track of car
