Need a carb

My classic is still refusing to pass smog here in Nevada. We've come to the conclusion that it's most likely because the carb is too small for the engine. It is currently running a single 1 1/4" SU on the 1275 engine.
From what I'm seeing on the various Mini parts sites I've looked at, any bigger carb is going to require an intake manifold as well.
Do any of you guys have a 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" SU, or even a pair of 1 1/4" SUs (though I guess I only need 1 more) carbs that you'd be willing to part with?

7 has my set up ...

Seven Enterprises has my set up as a kit

HIF-6, with a K&N and the manifold ... & all misc parts req'd....$550... and the right (well a very good probable anyway) needle in the carb...

http://www.7ent.com/detail.cfm?pageid=27

$550 ain't cheap...but frankly it ain't bad with all the stuff in one box and Seven a phone call away if you have a problem....

I'm very happy with my setup - but my state doesn't have emissions tests so can't tell ya how clean it is.

MiniSport also has some kits - dual SU's if you want 'em ... but some opine that a 1&3/4 HIF6 actually produces the maximum flow...

And MiniSport has Weber kits too if you wanna....

Go single 1 3/4 for your application. Plenty of carb and no fuss.....

I called 7 Enterprises directly on Wednesday (after I was no longer winning the eBay auction for the twin setup). They set me up with a used but not rebuilt single SU, with the 1 piece intake and exhaust manifold for $110.
Should arrive today according to UPS. If you're looking for something in non-pristine condition, call them. They have a ton of "used" parts that aren't on the website and you can get some great deals if you aren't looking to build a concours car.

Seven is great. I used them a lot when they were on the right coast (VA).
