I got a set of WIPAC driving lights and was thinking of wiring them into the switch for the rear fog lamp (the fog lamp had been removed before I bought the car). Has anyone else done this who could walk me through it, or have any other recommendations on how to wire it up. Thanks for your help in advance.

I would suggest getting a wiring kit with a relay. You can get them at most big auto parts stores. It will have instructions and instead of using the switch supplied just use your switch.

 

A relay is a good way to go because you are not running a "hot" switch.

Thanks Rick. A freind who is handy with wiring is going to help out, but he wasn't comfortable not being familiar with the classic. After seeing your diagram he says we are good to go. Really appreciate it.

That relay is Hella part # 87405 w/o mounting bracket or 87411 w/ bracket. It's also sold as Frigette part # 244-221 or Four Seasons 35928 at your local auto parts supplier.
