1970 / 97 “ Classic ” Mini Cooper.





This is an original Classic Mini Cooper import brought to the USA from Ireland in 2002.

It is a beautiful, clean example of this Classic British Marquee.



It is a 1.3 liter with fuel injection. The car is in excellent condition. It has been a daily driver during the Summer months and is stored in our airplane hanger during the harsh New England Winters. It is well know in the N/East as it was featured in an Adidas Advertising campaign in 2004.



The car is mechanically perfect with 41,780 miles. It is right hand drive with a full walnut interior finish and all leather “ Cooper “ embossed front seats. It also has a custom fitted aluminum underbody skid plate ( sump guard )



It is painted in Metallic British Racing Green with a White roof and twin white stripes. It carries 4 large Cibie Oscar spot lights operated independently on two toggle switches.

It also has a retro leather hood strap. Needless to say, the car is unbelievable on gas mileage.



The car was professionally fitted with aftermarket wide arches and 13” Mini Lite wheel rims. It had all new brakes fitted approx. 1,500 miles ago. At that time, it also had a full mechanical service. Also fitted with factory ignition alarm system. Glass has a light Green tint.



To date, all the work done on this car has been by Ray Cunningham of The Galway Mini Center in Ireland. www.galwayminicentre.com With a reputation as the single most professional and most knowledgeable person in Ireland on Classic Minis, Ray has worked on this car in Ireland and in the USA.



Vehicle comes with a full size Mini Lite spare wheel, some tools and a fully bound copy of its original Rover workshop manual, showing every nut and bolt, wiring harnesses, electrical circuits etc. etc. needed to keep the car in tip top condition.



This really is a well kept, original Classic Mini Cooper. A pleasure to drive. Definately, worth viewing if you are in the market for a top of the line Classic Mini.
