I've got a rare Mini based kit car, a Stimson Safari Six, for sale in the Keys. Price is $6000 Firm. Here is the description I put on the Mini Mania site:
Here is one of the rarest and most unique of all Mini kit cars. Designed and built by Stimson, a company that made many Mini based kit cars during the heyday of the Mini. To the best of my knowledge less then 10 of these were ever built, but the total production number that I have heard from time to time is that only four of these were ever built. I believe this to be the only one in North America.
The car does have a top, but it would really only be useful as a pattern due to its age. It is, however, fortunate to have as it is uniqely designed. The exterior benefitted from a full respray less than 2 years ago. The interior is painted as well, with four fiberglass bucket seats in need of recovering.
Powertrain wise, the car is excellent. It starts right up and runs quite well.
The wheels are 10x6 Mamba Alloys that are physically mint, but havs suffered from some spidering under the clearcoat of the polished lip. I've noticed that this can be a problem with many wheels brands that come out of the UK when they have a clearcoated lip. Tires are the Dunlop Formula 50, a very desireable NLA tire, that are in near new condition. Although I do not know their exact mileage, I do believe them to be ultra low mileage.
So there you have it. A unique Mini, really more akin to a Moke than a Mini, that you certainly will never see another one coming down the road at you. It does have the few cosmetic issues mentioned above, but the big money has already been spent. More pics and info available on request.
Price is firm. Serious domestic buyers only, no agents or brokers. Any shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
Car is powered by a 1098cc with magic wand. I can email pictures (sorry I cannot post any), but one can be found at: http://www.minimania.com/web/id/2213/ClassDetail.cfm
This is but one of a number of cars from my collection that I will be selling. Family responsibilites since my Father's passing have totally eaten up what little spare time I had.
Thanks!

PS - I'm not too good at checking my PM's, EM is usually better. But I'll try to keep tabs on my PM box.
