Meet Edna

This is Edna. Smileee's new garage mate.
She is a 1964 Wolseley Hornet MkII.
A Wolseley is a special edition Classic Mini built from 1961- 1969.

We picked the name after the comments Gordon D. made about Wolseleys "Wolseley's were bought by people's mothers and maiden aunts"

While Laurie and I couldn't agree on the gender of the car and keeping in mind Gordon's comments we decidied on naming the car after Dame Edna.

Cheers,
Jack, Laurie, Smileee and Edna

Hello Edna!

Great picture and stunning color/front grill work.
It's like Rolls Royce meets mini!
The original velvet red?

I am moving this delightful example to classic mini talk.

Thanks,

Yes I would say the color is closest to Velvet Red.

Here is a picture of our two cars together.

Cheers,
Jack
