Why do we not have this yet?

Quick disclaimer: I've been a huge Mini nut for years now, and only recently have I bought my first R53 ever (yes, took me forever, but being a college student means a small budget). I don't post on NAM too much, but I'm always stalking the website.

ANYWAY, do you know what the classic Mini community needs? I think that we need a dedicated company/garage that works exclusively on Minis to create, in essence, the most beautiful, dynamic, spectacular classic Mini possible.

I'm sure many of you are familiar with a small little California brand called Singer. They take old Porsche 911s and create the "ultimate 911" by including the best bits from each different era; the best engine, best gearbox, best bonnet, best axle, best seats, etc. with an emphasis on performance and beauty. In the end, they create a work of art for petrolheads (with large enough pocketbooks). The attention to detail is truly astonishing. Just look at this website to see what I mean:

Now what I'm getting at is that we NEED something like this for Minis. A company that will take Minis, build them to a customer's desire, be able to located the best Mini parts and bits, in order to create the most spectacular Mini.

In all seriousness, why does this not exist? To all entrepreneurs, wealthy Mini owners, and lovers of awesomeness, please start this company. I need this, we as a community needs this, the world (including the US) needs this to see just how awesome Minis are, and to show the world that cars don't have to weigh 7 tons to be good!

Sincerely,

A seriously nostalgic and optimistic college boy

You are asking for something that already exists. Most notable here in the US are Seven Enterprise in Auburn, CA and Heritage Garage in Costa Mesa, CA.

Oh, thank you, I'll check them out promptly, then! I was unaware - I guess that's what happens when you don't own and work on a classic Mini!

If you don't own one, why would you be so presumptuous that we Classic Owners need this?
I only mention two, there are probably many more.
Push yourself away from the computer and go out and experience the Classic Mini experience.

Well, it's easier said than done. Being in college means that owning a car (especially in the city) is purely something for pleasure. From my position, it's not too feasible to have multiple cars. Hopefully when I get older
