Anyone interested to have a group meet in Los Angeles area??
Not sure if you're talking about classic minis only, but there's the SoCal MINI Maniacs. Just got back from a run this weekend, with around 40 MINIs, lots of fun. A few members have classics, though, sadly, in my experience, they rarely attend club events.
