Got this from Mini Mania today - hopefully they don't mind if I pass on:
Our friends at Classic Motorsports magazine have just started their latest project car restoration... a 1967 Mini Cooper 1275 S. This one hits close to home and we will be working with the editors to make sure they get this, originally Tartan Red, matching numbers car, looking and running great again.
The magazine stories start soon. In the meantime, the editors are doing website updates, at least once a week. Click here to take a look: http://classicmotorsports.net/projec...mini-cooper-s/ It might not look like much, but it is a real, matching numbers, 1275S Mini Cooper. The original color was Tartan Red, but a previous owner slapped a cheap coat of silver paint on it. The guys at Classic Motorsports magazine are committed to restore it back to original.
The Classic Motorsports magazine project 1275 Mini Cooper S is rolling along. Updates can be found on their website at: http://classicmotorsports.net/projec...mini-cooper-s/ In addition, the Classic Motorsports staff has offered every Mini Mania customer a free sample issue of their magazine. This magazine about "Enjoying, Driving, Collecting and Celebrating Classic Sports Cars" is one of our favorites, and worth a look. I've been a subscriber for some time and consider them a good source of 'how to' articles usually based on their restro projects....
