ethanol free
ethanol free
just a vent
but I went out of my way to run the tank down low, then sought out the ethanol free station in town for a fill up
subsequently had the first case of dieseling/run on in 5 years .... since the one time I tried mid-grade gas. Suggests to me the guy selling eth' free is NOT selling the posted octane.
So be wary of where you buy your (eth' free) gas . . . .
my car runs better on true 93+ octane, alc or no alc . . . if I have to replace a seal or a hose, well I guess that's the cost of business.
I could hide the issue with a timing change .... as we did in the 70's when unleaded gas came around.
