Need help!!

Where can I get parts for my 1974 Mini Innocenti. I want to get it back to original. I'm new at the Mini crowd. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

mini mania, seven enterprises, mini sport, and others. just google classic mini. I see you live in Xenia, we just had the national meet east there this weekend. You should also lookup the Ohio Mini Owners. It is the mini club in near Dayton. If you need more help then just ask.

Me & my wife went there it was a blast. I bought some stuff. She's wanting he to get both done so we can go to more shows. The places you mentioned don't have the parts I'm needing. I was told the Innocenti is different from the Mini Cooper. Is there any other shows coming up in the near future? I'm new at all this. Thanks again Mike

The Innocenti has different badging and instrument cluster than other Minis, from what I remember. Since there were less produced than other Minis, second hand parts availability is less. I would suggest calling a couple of the distributors, specifically Heritage Garage and Seven Enterprises and tell them what you need and ask them if they can find any of the parts from one of their suppliers. I've done that a couple times with my '73 Austin American with mixed results.

Oh, there are Innocenti parts that show up on Ebay from time to time.

Cheers,
Jeff

given you are new to Mini'dom tell us what you are looking for....

Not all that much about an Inno' is unique as far as I know .... well at least so as most could tell. I can understand wanting to get back to 'original' as I like to keep mine 'original' while still doing lots of mods {I won't go Honda but will push an SU carb'd 1275}. Unless trying to be judged at a sanctioned show or selling thru Barrett (who gets plenty wrong anyway) I wouldn't worry about 'perfect'.

What kind of horrors are you trying to bring back to 'original'?

I'm looking for window rubber seals, inner outer weather strips, I think they're called Quarterlights seals( I know them as window vents). I basicly need all the door seals, gaskets. Grille, grille surround moustache, all the badges, number plate lamp. That's what I can think of right now. I have a list, but I left it at my wifes office. Thanks Mike

I usually start with GBCarparts.com - they have most everything at good prices. 7Enterprises is a fave of mine as well. I usually only use MiniMania as a last resort, as for some reason everything I've needed was 10%-15% more there. Everyone I've ever talked to at all 3 places has been super helpful, so when in doubt look them up online and give them a call.
