Mini Morris Cooper & a Clubman - Pics

Took my son over to Gamestop in Nanuet NY today in the family Highlander. MY 09 JCW is in the garage because it was supposed to rain. And I just happen to park next to a Clubman . So we go inside to pick up a new game. I did not notice it a first but next to the Clubman is an old Mini Morris Cooper with right hand steering that I believe is from Argentina. I have seen this car around in the past but thought this a good photo opp since it was next to the Clubman. Funny how people do that... park next to another MINI/Mini.

The car is not in super shape but the owner does use it as a daily driver. I took a few picture with my iPhone. Notice how huge the Clubman looks next to the Mini.

it's a bits a

a fun 'find the mismatches game

I'll start

side marker lights suggest a year long after MORRIS ceased to exist as its own company

side maker light plus MK1 tail lights say MODed (the MK1 lights can be fit if you weld in the replacement panel piece .... I've them too)

head rest seats....and I think I see a much later steering wheel in there with center padding and all that..

13 inch, deep wheels

pretty sure that bonnet has the grill trim attached ... that says a MK2 or later; rolling windows and interior hinges; rear glass defrost . . . again, compare to the MK1 lites...

wavyness of the MORRIS COOPER emblem suggests an owner add to me

but it does look like the owner ain't afraid to drive it! May be almost as It'sA as mine!

Well I couldn't identify any difference(s) on the Mini, if my life depended on it. I'm just glad to see that the Mini is L@VED!! A bit rough sure, must be some mechanical hands driving Him/Her.
