Being a bit lazy, did a search but didn't dig too far. Notice there is an Innocenti Mini for sale not far from me. Can someone give me an easy primer on them or at least point me in the right direction?

 

The innocenti Mini was the Italian made Mini. It has a 1275cc engine in it and they come with more gauges in them and they're left hand drive. Just a warning, the gauges are in italian...

 

The gauges may be in Italian but the dash is very cool. There are been a few attempt at reproductions but to little aval. Other than the normal classic Mini stuff to look out for, the electronics in the Inno's can be a bit more difficult to deal with as they were a mix of Lucas and Italian componates from what I understand. The Inno dash makes up for all that though

Look up "Ricambi Auto d'Epoca" (classic auto parts) under Innocenti & Mini

Be aware Innocenti produced cars other than Mini under license.

BTW< not all Innocenti Mini Coopers had the multi-pod dash. Some had the center pod as UK Minis.
