Hi all classic mini lovers ,

I would like to share some classic mini information here so that some of you can clearly know which model your mini is and which year exactly it from.

Mini Mark 1
The first ever Mini was launched in August 1959 by BMC.

Mini Mark 2
Mini MK2 was introduced in 1967 and it is the second generation for Mini car.

Mini Mark 3
names Austin and Morris were dropped from the Mini and from there onwards all cars model has become known as “Mini”.

Mini Mark 4
Mini MK4/MKIV generation comes from 1976 to 1984.

Mini Mark 5
Where all the limited edition comes.

Mini Mark 6
Where most of the Cooper appear here.

Mini Mark 7
Last generation

Hi all,

Thanks for all the response and PM to my inbox. I have double check some of the information and just make some correction. The MK7 thread information is not enough, I will work on it and hope to get a real full, detail and complete information for all classic Minis. The first cooper was introduced in 1961 then this was 997cc the cooper S came in 1963 with 1071cc then 970cc and 1275cc in 1965, as for the first LE this was the 1100 special wich was intorduced in 1979 to celibrate 20 years of mini production........
