I'm looking for a spare tire/wheel to have in my Mini in case of a flat while commuting. The car has 165-65/R12 Yokahama A510s on 12" Minilites.

Anyone have a lead on a single 12" Mini wheel/tire combo that I can use as a good spare? The car's got 7.5" disks on the front and Superfin Mini drums on the rear if that matters.

If someone's got a decent wheel/tire in their garage/shed that they can part with I'd love to make a deal.

You could probably also use a 10" as a spare since you have 7.5" disks

 

Just a thought but you probably could get a donut from a geo or some other egg car for like 5 bucks at the junkyard. Take a tape measure and measure the bolt pattern and the stud size and overall diameter. I have a few sitting in my garage that I picked up that fit bolt wise but they are a little too big fit in the wheel wells. I bought them for my 06 cooper just for the tires cause the mini steel donut rim costs 40 bucks and the tire costs 120.

You can't go wrong dealing with Seven. I know a girl in Mesa that just changed out some 12" wheels. I'll find out if she wants to part with one.

Seems that some of us that had been helping her out with her Mini lost her phone number and she is not answering her emails. No worries, something will break on her Mini and she will contact one of us.

On an unrelated note, Ken from Tempe was able to put a few laps on his Vintage race Mini on Saturday out at PIR.
